Manege Heijligers is a real family business. In 1967 established by the brothers André and Henk Heijligers. Since 2005 the management consists of André and Resie Heijligers and their sons Erik and Ruud. Kim and Ingrid, the wives of Erik and Ruud, also fully cooperate in the business.

When the brothers joined the managing board in 2005, there was already a nice equestrian center with three indoor arenas and one outdoor arena. Many lessons were given and many national shows were organised. But the brothers wanted to give the equestrian sport a new impulse. Plans were made to organize international horse shows, next to the already existing activities. For this, the accommodation had to be adjusted. In 2012 the outdoor accommodation was fully renewed and in 2014 the indoor arena was fully renewed.

Now, outside there is a large show arena (55 x 80 meter) and besides there is a warming up arena (30 x 50 meter). In 2022 a third arena has been added (45 x 80 meter). All arenas are provided with sports ground with tides system. Indoor, the arena is increased (35 x 60 meter) and modernized. This arena now meets all requirements concerning ground, light and sound. Both for equestrian sports and for other events. Also there are two more indoor arenas (20 x 40 meter). Of course, all arenas are provided with sports grounds. In 2014 they have build a new entrance, cafeteria, grand café and restaurant. Also the parking facilities are adapted. In front of Manege Heijligers there is a deer park, which is fully renewed and they have build a playground for children.

Now, there is an equestrian center that provides in sports for all riders, from children to Olympic champions, seven days a week at every level. Almost every weekend there are shows, through the year lots of riders come here for training their horses because of the good facilities. There is also a possibility for renting stables. But also for the beginning rider there are lots of possibilities like lessons, outside rides, shows specially for beginners etc. Because the Heijligers family really finds it important that everyone feels welcome at Manege Heijligers. Large and small, beginner and professional and even people who don't have horses are more than welcome!

Everyone is invited to visit Manege Heijligers! We are open Tuesday till Sunday from 10:00h. On Mondays we are closed.
